Pumpkin spice latte mix
Not so secret Pumpkin Spice Latte mix.
James has been using this recipe for about a dozen years now. It’s not for the faint of heart! But if you like True Bold Pumpkin pie in your drink, This is for your!
#1 Add all of these ingredients together in your milk frothing jug.
1 - tbsp pumpkin puree
1 - 1/4tsp pumpkin spice mix
1 - tiny dash vanilla ( to taste)
1 - sugar to taste (we don't use any)
1- Milk to taste (latte or cappuccino (I use the 400ml frothing pitcher, Filled to the bottom of the spout dent. )
#2 Steam Milk as you would normally but if you use a pre measured clump of frozen pumpkin puree then do use a spoon as well to make sure it’s well stirred and melted.
#3 Pour your Coffee as normal - IE Shot of espresso, then pour mix over top. If your foam is nice you should still be able to make latte art as well. There will be debris at the bottom of the milk pitcher I attempt to NOT pour this in to my drink.
#4 End result, Should be like the REAL thing. Tag me #highwoodcoffee Or #bowrepublik, if you use the recipe and let me know if you feel the same, Or not.. Play with the recipe and let me know if there’s a change you like better. I’m always game to improve it and I’ll happily tag you back!
