Mission statement

Our goal is to offer quality specialty coffee that you brew at home or on the go!  Saving time and money on your daily ritual.  While offering you a lower carbon footprint product which is sustainably sourced and packaged.

• We are a Bullfrog powered home business.  What does that mean? We purchase  100% renewable energy to offset our carbon footprint. Bullfrog power sets up both renewable electricity projects as well as natural gas capture projects. • We Recycle our coffee bags.  We collect coffee bags from our customers to be recycled via Teracycle.  We sometimes get asked, why don’t we use biodegradable packaging?  The short answer is the shelf life is not adequate for retail sales.  Technically our goal is to offer subscription customers a reusable packaging option.

• Ethical sourcing of green beans.  We consult with a sourcing agent here in Calgary.  Our instructions for the beans we roast are for Direct trade first and then Co-op alliance.  All purchases are grouped with our sourcing agent and are shipped together with other roasters. Which in tern saves a massive amount in carbon footprint.  This does limit what we bring in but in the long term we’ll likely be only sourcing from south America to also limit carbon footprint.
