At Highwood Coffee, we are committed to creating an environment that will last for the future of our children. We realize the coffee industry as a whole is quite carbon intensive. In this we have a few small initiatives that we hope lesson our footprint. All of our local deliveries are done with a plug in electric vehicle, Our drives from our home to our roaster are also done via electron’s rather than standard fuel. Our delivery bags are recycled paper and can be reusable, our phase 2 coffee bags will be biodegradable. When shipping coffee we try our best to fill a container with our partners rather than ship individually. Being mindful for the environment and ethical in business is what we’d like to be known for.
