Yesterday I stopped for an elderly man likely in his 70's looking to cross the road. I was stopped and a highlander with a couple teen girls nearly hit the old man. Smoking tires etc.. They came to a near stop but then decided to keep going which confused other drivers so others started going where the man was nearly hit a second time in about 8 seconds .. please please 🛑! It's an $810 fine and 4 demerit points. Section 41 of Alberta traffic act drivers must wait until the vulnerable road user crosses completely from one side to the other. #calgarypoliceservice With that out of the way. We'll be out and about this weekend and will continue delivering coffee starting Tuesday. Likely Wednesday I'll have the September newsletter out. PPS, we have fully moved into the new shop but some delays with the contractors in getting the equipment running means that it will be another week or so before we get to roast some more coffee. That said we still have lots of 340g bags of Light roast Ethiopian as well as our Papua new guinea/Brazil blend. While I'm blabbing we are in the midst of changing the products around on the website to be a per roast basis. This will be to keep our 8 week freshness guarantee front and center. Good afternoon, wanted to let everyone know that we will be at Sunalta community farmers market tomorrow 10-2 We have a few things going on next week. Our roasting location is moving so we'll be doing some work behind the scenes. We'll also be sneaking in, some family vacation. So Saturday night will be the last delivery until August 18th. If your subscription is at any point next week we'll deliver Saturday night or as soon as we get back. We'll be in contact with our subscribers this evening. The website will be turned off until we're back. While we're on the topic of the website. We have started deleting all sign ups and customer profiles who have not used our services in the last 180 days. This is done for a few reasons. It allows us to communicate with actual customers/real people. It allows us to keep your information more secure by keeping the pool of information small. It also keeps us a bit more safe by deleting bot profiles etc as to keep things real. If there are any questions please feel free to email us.
