Get started - Practice makes perfect
1. Heat the milk in a stainless steel steaming pitcher or bowl. Fill the pitcher or bowl halfway with cold, fresh milk.
2. Place the pitcher onto the steam wand and turn it on. Lower the pitcher until the steam wand is just below the surface of the milk.
3. Move the pitcher in a circular motion until the milk reaches a temperature of about 140-150 degrees Fahrenheit.
4. When the milk is heated, insert the steam wand into the center of the milk and hold it at a 45-degree angle towards the bottom of the pitcher.
5. Pound the steam wand into the milk and move the pitcher in a circular motion, keeping the wand submerged in the milk while creating a whirlpool motion.
6. When the milk reaches the desired texture, remove the steam wand from the milk and turn off the wand. Pour the frothed milk onto your latte. Enjoy!
